My Buggy Specs: Make: Libre Model: Dragster Construction: Stainless Steel Axle length: 1600mm Tyres: EuroTrax, Front 11 Grooves, Rear 9 Grooves. Hubs: EuroTrax ? About the buggy. Comes with: Front mud guard, good design and fit. Side rail covers, Good length and quality. Deep Back supporting Seat, One of the most comfy seats your find out side the lounge room. All nuts and bolts needed, Axle bolts, Spacers, and Bearings fitted. Even the tyres come inflated. The banner flag does not come standard, massive amounts for begging and sucking up required. Build: I would have to rate the Dragster up amongst the best buggies in the world, as far as size goes, it’s bloody huge. Welds are very nice and clean, Materials are first rate (so I am told), The build of the seat makes it sit best in one position, having formed side rail pads on both sides, making positioning of the seat a no brainer, its construction is very thick, heavy stitching, and the straps are well tailed and stitched. The only comment I would make about the build quality is the lack of polished work. Certain parts show the possibilities, but only in small patches. The majority is a Sand Blasted, matte effect, although it is very nice, it’s not a mirror. And I’m told a mirror is very handy on a beach. During the build process, when they assemble the buggy in the factory, I was able to get direct email contact with the libre guys and ask questions on available axles, wheels, tyres, down tubes and anything else wanted to know, and have the buggy built as I wanted. Now I’m not sure if everyone would get the same access, I just happened to be in contact with libre on another matter when I ordered my buggy through Briskites. Using The Dragster: From the first time you get into the super deep, high backed, well padded seat, you feel at home and very comfortable. Better still you can sit back, put your feet up, and drift off down the beach. The feeling of solid contact with the sand, the tyres really do grip the sand well, (with correct pressures), long fast straight runs is what this buggy was designed to do, setting the foot peg position, and the down tube length become critical when it come to turning, my style is a fully powered quick down turn, allowing the buggy rear to slid and control the power of the kite, turn towards the slid, and power away. Slowing down from 60kph to turn is a simple slid and wash off speed, and even an emergency stop is very easy with such a wide heavy buggy. I am most impressed with the ride and comfort of the dragster, the EuroTrax tyres allow for total control of the terrain, no matter what surface, just adjust tyre pressure to suit. Overall: I will have to give the Libre Dragster a Big 4.9999999 out of 5. To me it is the most worth while investment I could have made, as I see this buggy out living every kite I will own, and even out living me.
