View Full Version : kite pants ???
Does anyone wear kite pants? Can they be bought in Melb anywhere? I thought they could be handy at keeping my skin attached to my legs.

At the moment i use $15 army pants from disposal stores... I had ruined too many good clothes by the stylish art of 'butt skudding'. When i can find (and afford) some i will get some ATB / BMX race pants. These are padded in all the right places and virtualy impossible to rip.
They are probably overkill for static flying but should be great for Kite ATB and good ol 'butt scudding'!!
Have you seen any proper 'kite pants' ?

Yeah you're probably right. Think I'll just wear out a couple of cheap ones rather than a good pair. The ones that I saw are at http://www.onboardstore.com/, but they're in europe around 80 euro. $15 sounds much better.

If you want loads of protection then Moto-X Pants are almost indestructable. Bit expensive but if you might fall hard on gravel, rocks etc they might be worth it. I'm thinking of getting some (kids size which means a bit cheaper) for mountainboarding downhill.
Some are more padded and some are just tough.
