View Full Version : geelong jobs?
Hi, this one's for the guys from Geelong....
I'm looking for a job in the Geelong area, but can't find any Geelong papers on the other side of the bay (Mornington). Does anyone know what newspaper (and what day) has all the jobs in it??
thanks,
Gav

The Geelong advertiser has the most jobs. I think the Saturday edition is the one to get. Are you looking for any certain type of job? If you can't get hold of one, I might be able to send one down to you.
Goshen.
Thanks guys. I'll call the Geelong Advertiser and see if they can send them to me direct. I'm after computer network admin, or similar, jobs. If you hear of anything like that around Geelong, please let me know!!!
thanks,
Gav

Hey Gav,
Now you are here in Melbourne you should come and visit us some time at Elwood.
Look forward to seeing you some time soon.
:D

Yeah, will have to do that. You guys mainly go to the patch near the St Kilda marina do you? The wife is going up to the city on Friday, so I could drop her off..... are working Friday??
Had an awesome run yesterday at Hastings. There's a huge grassed area next to the water's edge there that is perfect. I'm going to go back this afternoon. You should come down and check it out some time.

Yes we are next door to the marina, at Moran Res.
Sorry working Friday, but free Sat. Sun. once I clean up my buggy.
You should have seen how much mud they got covered in!!!
It might even take all weekend to clean it!! :(
I might have to come down some time and have a look at the areas you are finding Gav.
We might even end up using one for a race in the future. :)
Oh and yes Kev, I have been up the track and am now home, along with the rest of the gang that went.
Have a look at "Back from Birdsville" message

If I was you Gav I don't think I would waste my time.
The forcast is for rain all weekend!!!
Lots of good strong wind with the rain though.
To long a drive to have a buggy in between the rain patches.
Feel free to come on down but if the weather is shit then I doubt that even I will turn up.
Save it for another time when the forcast is better.
Nigel
You're right about the weather! I had to go to St Kilda this morning anyway, but could hardly see from all the hail on the way. Oh well, another time.
