Nah not too much luck this w'end down south. I finally found somewhere decent to buggy, but haven't been able to get out there yet.... either no wind, or gales (and I don't have any small kites!)

Looks like this weekend is shaping up to be a better weekend. Hopefully a small group of us are heading down towards Kingscliffe (from Brissy). With low tide around 4-00pm on Saturday it should be quite suitable for an afternoon of buggy action. woohoo!!

it looks like the bad winter blues have finally gone. Went for a run on Friday arvo down at Kingscliffe (NSW) & had an absolute blast started out at say 2-15pm went on until roughly 4-00pm & had a real hoot. The winds started out at say 10 knots & picked up as the arvo wore on....in the end it was prvoing too much to fly my 4.5mtr Razor so I would suspect the winds were close to my 14 - 15 knot maximum for my body weight.
I hope all you other readers have had a good buggy weekend.

Finally I have found someone who buggy's around the Gold Coast. I have been in Oz for 7 months without a sniff of buggy action. Didn't know you could buggy at Kingscliff and I only live 4k away, where else can you use a Paracart around here.

Hi Ian,
where do you live? There is a "group" of us up here so I could call you next time I am heading out or if a few of us are coming down.
I live in Brisbane on the Nth West side of town (ARana Hills) presently.

That would be great, Half the fun of buggying is being able to be around like minded people. Let me know through the forum when you are this way again and I will join you.

I'm in Tweed Heads South.

Hi there again,
as a general rule we head down about once out of every 2 weekends as that is when tide is usually the best i.e. low tides in the afternoons. So us its a good say 90 mins trip down to Kingscliffe if not a bit longer depending on traffic conditions etc....
normally go on a Saturday or Sunday. If we were heading out I will post something late Friday night or early Saturday mornings.
This weekend is out for kingslciffe though I may head down to the Southport spit on Saturday around midday subject to weather conditions (I will confirm if I am going).
