hmmmm right now I have a 3.7 skytiger which is great. But I want a kite with a bit more upward lift so I can practise jumps. Somthing like a blade I think is what I need but what I want to know is how does the Little devil perform?? or does anyone reccommed a kite thats good for doing jumps thats not too advanced/hard to fly.

I would try a bit bigger kite.
The smaller the kite the easier it is to hurt ones self.
The smaller kites don't have the lift of a larger one, but use the stronger wind and faster movement to generate the lift. If you get it wrong with a small kite then you land a lot quicker and harder than a bigger one.
The little devils are a very stable design (read novice) but also lack the speed to get a good jump.
How long have you been flying for???
If you have the controll, a race type kite will give you an explosive lift when moved fast and in most cases a long floaty jump, only if you keep the kite moving above your head and also don't luff it.
Most people luff their kites as they land on the ground. This is because the kite over flies them as they descend from the jump.
You can pull in the brakes a little just before you land or keep the kite facing to one side. This will stop it from luffing and the general dragging that happens when it re-inflates.
Options to consider:
Blade 3.3 or move up to a 4.9 Most blade fliers like their 4.9 best
I think there is a 4 too???
You could try a C-Quad 4.2
Most people don't like them as they require a different style to get the best out of them. But once mastered they are just as good as many other kites, cheaper too.
I own a large collection of them. If you get one let me know and I will help you set it up as most other kite fliers don't under stand how to set it up right, but once done they can also be tuned to your flying style.
Boras, they make a 3.7 and I have flown one. Very nice. It is a race kite so with speed comes lift, but very nice. You can also tune it for your flying style or the conditions. The A and C lines can be moved to adjust the angle of attack. Quite stable too.
I have also flown a 6m bora and it was quicker through the air than my 6.3 C-Quad, meaning more lift with speed.
Razors, again a race kite but not as stable as the Boras.
Raptors, race kite, but more stable than Razor. Also has less speed through the air than Razor (not by much) so not quite as explosive lift.
Any kite will give you lift in a strong enough wind, but some will be more controllable in the conditions than others.
If you can, try to fly several kites before you make up your mind.
That way you will be very happy with what ever you get.

That is an impressive response nigel!! I agree with what you have said. Being mainly a blade flyer I would have to say that these are very versatile and I think you'll find what you are looking for in these kites. As nigel said, a 4m or 4.9m would be best. Yes, don't go too small for jumping. A big one will let you down much nicer than the small. I have found that I can take out the 4.9 in most wind conditions.

apart from the fact that my kite is for sale for any reasomble offer, get a blade 4.9 or somthing like the arc, good jumping kite and wont luff to easially when there is enough wind.
once again nigel is right and he has the experience.

Thanks for all your input, I think the 4m or 4.9m blade sound good but I will have to think about it.
And to answer the question asked earlier, I have been flying my kite for more than or about 6 months I think now.
