:idea: On my way back to the Gold Coast after 3 years of kiting and travelling around the world. I'm an IKO instructor and have spent the last 3 months teaching @ "Paracademy"/Weymouth-UK. Anyone looking for instructors?? :shock: On a different note, happened to hear about a stupid accident at Poole Harbour/UK yesterday. A guy went down there with the intentions of flying his new 12m aquisition in force 7-8 onshore winds :shock: (the road is right next to the launching area there). He first asked the advice of the kite shop, which he ignored and went with his mate to the beach to set it up. By the time the instructors worked out that he had no idea of what he was doing it was too late. The kite of course was sent straight through the power window which sent him somersaulting over a wall and then passed a 2nd time(murpheys law of kiting), straight accross the power window sending the guy into a cafe wall. Result: Unconscious, totally shattered pelvis some huge eggs on his head and some other broken bones. Wish these people would listen to us!!!![/b]
