As you all know i have been waiting for my board for quite some time now and it has finally arrived :D , it is not as light as i expected it to be but that doesnt matter, anything will be lighter than the mbs board i currently have, when i get the foot straps on it i will let you all know what i think of it, but from first impressions it is a really good board. but customs did get in to me though, they charged me $103.68 for what i dont understand. any way am glad to have my board,

Justin

Sweet... Put up some pics when you get a chance. I just took delivery of a BHI carbon pro deck. Ohhhh soooo nice! I'll put a up a review and some pics once i've had a chance to go for a good ride.

BTW, I didn't get slugged by customs. :D

think its got to do with the invoice on the package. i got a break for my mbs board sent from oz to sweden and got slugged about $50A because it was sent from a company and had the invoice on it.. if it had been sent disguised as a present or just a package it might not have been hit with the import tax.. but it still worked out cheaper than buying it here so i cant complain..

It may also have sonthing to do with how in australia we have an importer for BHI, Schmik did you import it thourgh MMB or did you do it privately

I got it from BHI direct. This was due to a special arrangement i had with BHI. I get the rest of my BHI goods from Adam at MMB.

I guess i just got lucky with customs. But then again, i have imported a truck load of stuff over the years, kites, Radio controlled models, clothes and have never got done by customs. I don't see why i would. None of the stuff is hugely expensive and i'm not reselling it. Its for private use.

BTW, the BHI carbon pro is farking awsome!
