I'm arriving in Melbourne this saturday and hope to be kiteing my way up to Brisbane over three weeks (well, some kiteing and some by car...).
Since I know absolutely nothing about kiteing in Australia I was hoping that some of you guys could help me get started.
Where are the best spots on my route, which ones should I avoid, where can I meet fellow kite-buddies (perhaps on this forum??) and not the least, where should I look to but my self the equipment I need, new and used. Since I'm starting in Melbourne this is where I hope to get my gear.
Hope you're up for the challenge and can help me out! Post it here or send me an e-mail!

I have been kitesurfing for little more than half a year but I have'nt brought my equipment with me and wanted to by new gear anyway.
It seems like I'll be spending most of my time in Sydney and then between Sydney and Brisbane so if you (or others) have more information about kiteing and shops in this area, please post it here!
I'll mostlikely spend at least a good week in Sydney so I'm particulery interested in spots in or around the city.
