Hey I just wanted to know if anyone could give a little advice on a good beginner water launchable kite. I've been doing the whole rec and bodysurfing thing(did a little bit of buggy-wasn't too into it) for 5 years. I've been using my blade II for most everything but I just need something a little more "water based" now. Any suggestions? I just don't want to spend $900 on a kite thats under powered and always having to get it fixed.

get a G-Arc, they are a lot of fun and as long as you dont put them on the land at full speed they generally wont explode. or you could try one of the new bomba arc's they are meant to be a really good water kite, size wise a g-13 will do the job from 12knots till about 25 at the very top end.
I know someone (an instructor) with an early Wipika for about $600... it's a mid sized Airblast (I think), that has seen lots of action and had more than a few repairs to the leading edge, but still flies near as good as new. It's a cheap pickup that will give lots of service... I'd buy it, but I want to to save my $ and shop around a bit later.
If you want I could pass on his details.
