Help,,

Im moving to Australia in June, im a kite surfer with existing kit, (12m Naish), and it looks like i'll be living in Brisbane, but making frequant trips down to Sydney. Thus, and hence, advice needed on whether i should dump my relatively new kit over here, and buy more when i get there, or bring some or all of my kit. Likewise, does anybody know of any clubs i can contact?

G'day,

if your employer is relocating you, get them to pay for shipping!! If not balance up the cost of shipping against the depreciation and expence. I doubt that new kite and board prices are much different here. I'd also be surpised if it would cost much more than about 75pounds to send your gear here by a reputable freighter.

I don't know of any kitesurf specific groups that will be local to where you are going, but here are some links to get you started ;-)
