Hi Gav,
Check out http://www.x-zone.co.uk/main.php and follow links to buggying "how 2". I found it very descriptive when trying to work out how to do two-wheelers and spins, but admittedly I haven't tried jumping yet for fear of bending my buggy  !!!
It's quite a good website with some cool little vids anyway and also has info and links about kite mountainboarding, kitesurfing and jumping. :D

That's not a bad site.... going by them I was just not using a big enough kite for the job.
thanks,

You should watch Andrew and Dukey if you want to jump.
Yes they do break, bent both rear bolts (high tensile) and cracked the rear axle. Welded the axle at work :D
You can jump the same way you do it on foot.
Put the kite back over the other side from your dirrection of travel. The faster the bigger the jumps.
PL buggyies don't like 4 foot high half twisters :(
Watch Andrew for the other less dangerous way to jump.

 But I like testing the limits of my buggy......and I haven't killed anybody yet........er came close though, Goshen has the photo to prove it, I almost landed on him.

Credit where it's due though, he did hold his ground long enough to get a good picture, well done I thought.

All i can say is Kingston 2003 (bring out the 2nd buggy, what the axel wont fit....)... yeha i have also bent my buggy from doing jumps, gav just make sure u can get out when ur jumping, the last thing u want is to tip the buggy and get taken for a big ride...trust me ive done it..

Why do you want to get out of the buggy???
It's more fun once upside down to get the kite to drop down in front (lines between the foot pegs) and then make it climb above your head. Catapult style, back on three wheels and off you go. :D

 I don't think that quite worked for me at Altona Nigel, but what the f#@*! it did test my footpeg beyond its limits and prompted me to make a better set.......

My theory....If you have no whoopsies, You aren't tryin' hard enough. 8)
