I've finaly finished my homemade kiteboard. Its a wood core, three thin layers glued together to get the rocker. Then wrapped in 300g glass. Two layers on the bottom (coz the first one was terrible) and one layer on top. Then painted a lovely white. THe glass job is a bit rough but it was my first attempt and I am quite happy with the way it turned out.
Now I have an excuse to drown the frenzy or scrape up the dollars for an inflateable. Anyone wanna go in on the kitepower '3 for the price of 2' deal ?
cheers

That looks great schmik! Hope you've got a wetsuit if you're going to take it out now for a test run!!!
Have a chat to jsea, he's been threatening to sell his inflatable and buy a frenzy instead. It's in great nick, and a really nice kite, I've flown it a few times. I'm not too sure what it is or how much he wants for it, but he'd definitely give you a test flight if you were interested.
We are flying again this Saturday if you are keen for a fly, almost got blown away on Sunday, great south easterly, about 30 knots!

I might wait till next season to try this board out. Then again, I may get keen one day give it a go.
I gotta think about what to do about a kite for the water.... I've got more needs than dollars at the moment.
I might save for a PL arc style foil. I can use that on water and land.
Sunday was very windy. I didn't get to fly. Hopefully I will be able to get out this weekend but work may mess up my plans.
