Geelong ATB / Kitelandboarding Day - 20th June

Sun 20th June! Come along for the fun:

> Venue: Eastern Beach / Eastern Park, Geelong - Just off Hearne Pde.
> When: Sunday 20th June, 11am - 4pm.
> Lunch: Full BBQ lunch provided by Kitepower.
> Bring: Your boards, kites (if you have them), and ramps are welcome too.
> Venue ok for buggying too if the winds are good (NW or N).

The Downhill / freestyle ATB event will be undertaken at the Eastern end of Eastern Beach, and the kiting (if there is wind) will happen in the park just opposite. If there's good wind, then this is one of the premier kitelandboarding spots in Australia. Don't miss out!

Looks like the weather is crapping out for this one... :-(

It might be a little better than today - and we're still having an ATB session (and BBQ), but the winds are no good for kiting at Eastern Park, sorry.

"Sunday: West to southwesterly wind of 20 to 30 knots decreasing to 15 to 20 knots during the day"

If some do come along with kites, then I might be able to take a few out to DogRocks (which works well in W/SW).
