Hey Guy's,
If anyone's up for a blast this weekend, the wind is going SW at 20-30knots. The blokarters are meeting from 12 -4pm and would be great to get together with the Kiters for a bit of wheel to wheel action at Ned Neales.

I would of come down but I think that we are going to be rained out???

While the winds look great, the problem is the rain that comes with them.

Hope you atleast get to have a play down there. :D

Maybe next time???

The rain doesn't affect us the same, Mylar edge. The hail is coming too, yee ha, balaclava and layers time, In the immortal words of Billy Connelly, there is no such thing as bad weather, just wrong clothes.
I got out in 128km/h/ 75knot wind and hail about two months ago with the 3m on, I didn't break anything luckily and got 87km/h, with every run over 80. Didn't get to windspeed though.
I look forward too catching up next time you're down.

I've been out in the rain and hail before.
The only reason I don't like these conditions is the 30 metre lightning conductor that I use

In those winds I would need a kite under 1m squared!!!

Enjoy getting wet.

Will do.
Nigel if your up for a DirtSurf around the hills of Gippsland between the 21-25th of Sept, three of us are getting out for a downhill blast. If your interested i'll keep you informed. The Pro dirtsurfer Jez is coming over for Speedweek at Sandy Point between the 23 Oct till Nov 2 with his Kitewing.
So mark that one on the Calender for the Speed Freaks.

Na luckily Speedweek is Oct 23-Nov 2, otherwise the wind has been rubbish. I got 74.4k's with the 4m a few weeks ago but that has been about it. Lets hope we get a gail. We will be running out on the point as there is less resistance and get better speeds. Are you coming down?
Here is the details again for anyone into a bit of speed.

Thanks Kem,

Don't know if I will come down, would only be Saturday or Sunday for me.
Depends on the weather, but if it looks good then I might just turn up.
The first weekend looks the best for tides.
Fingers crossed :D

Bring your Dirtsurfer too if you can make it Nigel, as we will be having a go with Dirtsurfin' Kitewings and a kite powered dirtsurfer would be a wicked addition. I think the last few days are after daylight saving so may be an hour later but still 'sparrow fart' sailing.
