Thanks guys... I selected the last option.

It's going to have a used gear section, plus lots of other stuff (maybe even some games too for Justin). And the news section will be expanded upon heaps over the coming weeks.

Catchya at the next event - Justin - are you staying up at Mt Macedon on Sat night?

Well I think I have found the first bo-bo's that are in the web site????

The price of the Prism kites is far cheaper than the last web site???
Or are these just on sale at the moment Goshen???

$99 for a Micron, is this a sale price or RRP????
And do you have any in stock???? Which colours?? (must resist......must resist....)

Greetings all.

My first posting on this site.
The new Kitepower site looks great Goshen.
Although previous years buggy series details would be good to include.
(So i can revel in my Intermediate Victory    )
My Trophy still has prid of place on the TV.

Nigel i have a Prism Micron, i brought in the states when i was over there last year.
I found it a fun  kite but you need to be quick or it will crash and burn. (Should be no problems for you!!!!)
The tail supplied certainly helps in stronger wind to slow it down a little.
I can bring mine to Altona if you want to have a good look at one.
Heh at that price (Standard price now i believe) why not add another one to the collection.

Cheers
Hope to see you all Sunday.
Before i head up to Brisbane.

Nigel - those Prism prices are our new RRP's.

With Prism releasing the new kites (did you get my Newsletter?) we've decided to offer them at more 'direct' prices... which I think all the Sport Kite flyers out there will really appreciate... I do have a Micron in stock now :)

Russell - The way the pages for last years event was built, does not 'immediatly' fit into the layout of the new site. I need to spend some time (at least a couple of hours) re-laying out the pages - they will be done in the News/Resources section, along with all the info from this years event.

Cheers,
Goshen

Looks real slick!

Most importantly (for me and anyone else with BIG monitors ) it resizes/scales wonderfully... unlike the last offering which was unviewable :(

It even loads MUCH faster ( me and most of Oz don't have broadband, despite what some ppl will tell you )... just goes to show that good design doesn't mean big file size overhead.

Well done.

BTW... when does the used gear get a page?

Has kitepower started stocking peter lynn kites and gear again?

It certainly looks that way, i have got my last 2 arcs through Kp in gellong, i assume that the new south stores will be selling as well.

I thought so too the way the new web site reads. They are a very well stocked and run company but not with Peter Lynn kites. If my memory serves me well, the last kites Steve sold that he stocked were the s-arcs out of his Coogee store. I believe that if you want a PL kite, getting it is no big problem for them. The main distributor in Australia is Lachlan Beed, aka kiteworks. I fly inflatables on the water but if kitepower had G1s when I first got my inflatable, I would have probably gotten one of those instead. I was thinking about flying blades on the water but now I've gotten used to the inflatables and I have two.

Yes you are right. I do wan't two or three and too say good by to the lei. Money is the problem.I love my s 630 and 460,sometimes i'll take the 630 out on the water instead of pumping up my 10 storm .My 630 has more mylar on it than Berger has rainy days. I mountainboard with them mainly.

i had a fly of a 630 a year or so back and it was really scary, the thing was so goddam fast!!, i miss my 840, but to remind me of the past i also have a 460, that is quite a sweet kite. nothing beats going out in the surf on it in 30knots, it is just so fast and keeps on pulling.

I like it better then the old one, it was too small and cluttered. This is just simple and easy on the eyes.
