Hey all......found this board while I was searching for some Aus kite buggy info......just thought I'd drop in and say g'day :)
I kitesurf (couple of seasons now) and I've just got myself a buggy for those lighter days when I just can't quite get going on the water (or I don't feel like pumping up a 16m kite!). I've got a couple of excellent spots up here (like, Dundowran Beach with about 1km to the water at low tide!!), so I'm super keen to get out :D

welcome to the forum, we alwase welcome newcomers.
good to see that you are transending to all the different aspects of kiting. the buggying is a lot of fun and fast. you should also have a go at mountainboarding. it is the place to be.
cheers Justin

Just for starters try here:
http://buggytexas.com
Have a look down the left hand side and down load some of the buggy vids.
I think you will see buggying in a whole new light!!!
I think it is hard to beat a kite pulling hard, the lines singing, and holding somewhere around 60 kph on a nice beach :D

Christ! Hello MrSpinalInjury?!! That's some awesome aerial action there, but it's *gotta* hurt when you get it wrong..... It hurts enough when I get smashed in the water!! Think I might leave the airborne stuff for *much* later on

Just ask Dukey about the aireal stuff.
It all went pear shaped at the last buggy meet and he did his collar bone.
Its only the mad Poms doing the freestyle buggy jumping, but I would love to learn how to do it!!!
I have even been doing some little bunny hops at the field, when the conditions are good. :D
As always, safty is very very important. There have been some serious accidents. You must unfortunatly take the good with the bad if you get into this activity.
As with all sports there is always the possiblity that some thing might go wrong.
