Hi guys, am getting withdrawal symptoms, havnt been out for a sail , for what feels like months, has anyone got any plans for a meet at Sandy Point, or wherever?
Actually im still waiting to hear from Blokart, to see if they are going to repair my sail, ( the sail rope burnt through the guides, and made rather a mess) They said it had never happened before, well it sure has now, and I dont know if I have full control over the sail?
Cheers.

Kem is the only blokarter here on this forum to the best of my knowledge.

You will find more kite buggyiers here, but we all know the feeling we get when we can't get out and enjoy that wonderful wind.

Hope its fixed soon.

I'll be heading down there on the 26th.... with kites and a buggy though. Might see you there.

G'day Rod,
I had some wear on my early rigs, until they added the metal ring on the front guide down to the mainsheet pulley. I stitched a keyring on the front of one that one that had worn.
With most sail damage from stacking on the tarseal we just go to the nearest sailmaker for a patch unless it's a warranty fault, which I doubt, sounds more like wear.
If you are ever going to Sandy Point at any stage let me know and i'll get down for a blast. I get out for a sail most weekends and run events with the Gippsland Wind Sports Group monthly, which I will post on this site. We also have a 'Vic Blokarters" smartgroup at http://www.smartgroups.com/groups/vicblokarters.
Gav, I will be there for the 26th. Saturday looks light onshore and lowtide is 8.40am so I'll be there from 8am - 12pm both days, Sunday should pick up a decent easterly.
Cheers
Kem
