what are ppl doing on the 12th & 13th of March?

Just wondering what all ya melbourne ppl are doing on the 12th and 13th of March? i have that weekend off work (yay) and i am going to kite as much as possible. If anyone wants to come for a kite wif me, i have about 4 hours (on water) experience at the moment, and lookin to get a lil more skill, like staying on the board for more than 15m.

i usually kite down on the mornington peninsula, and only have a 12m kite, so i am limited to 10-20knots......more like 10-17knots at the moment.... :oops: ......cause i am a n00b.

if the weather isnt good for the water, i was wondering what you buggy pilots are doing? i'd be keen to come watch or have a shot if someone would be so kind 8) as i am going to start my own buggy project within a week or so.

so yeah, just a yell to all u melb ppl's, what ya's doing??

I should be around on the Saturday.... and I've been meaning to have another crack at it on the water! I've just got the one 11m lei, so I'm limited in wind range much the same as you. Give me a call closer to then, and we'll try and meet up.

yeah porbably, i live about 45min from the ferry, or about 2 hours round to geelong the long way, so i think the ferry is the go.

where do most ppl kitesurf on the weekend? i dont wanna go to st.kilya or anywhere up there as its too crowded. would any of yous be interested in a session down at like rye, dromana, mcrey (howeva u spell it).

i dont surf, and dont know the beaches of rye to well. but... there used to be a kite shop in rye so there must be lots of good beaches

i ownt have the time... and atm it is looking like i wont even be able to make it to the final comp... big plans for my car that weekend. hopefully will make it.

that is an understatment... well actually am prepping a dual range gearbox and a newer motor. but at the minute looks like i wont have a ide down there any one up for giving me a lift???
