Good locations QLD in april and may?

I've been in Australia for five months working and travelling and I want to spend my two last months to learn kitesurfing. I've heard that Noosa is a good place this time of year, is that correct? I have to take lessons, so there has to be a kitesurfing school there as well. Anyone who knows a good kitesurfing school?
