Extreme Kites Downtime This Week!

Hi All,

I don't think I need to say too much, as you can probably already guess what's going on ;) This week Extreme Kites will experience multiple downtimes. First off, we will be moving Extreme Kites from our current server to a new server. That is the first downtime, and most likely the longest. We expect this to happen early during the week.

Our second instance of downtime will be over the weekend of Saturday 21st, and Sunday 22nd of June. We plan to migrate all existing Forum, Gallery and User Accounts over to the new website. Everything else you see will be deleted and replaced with our new website.

After the website launches we expect there to be a few bugs and quirks. It will take us a couple of weeks to get everything running smoothly and our new teams to find their feet.

Gav and I will be unavailable all week. If you have any queries please contact Terry (Sinbad) who is the Community Administrator regarding any issues. Contacting either Gav or myself will mean we won't respond to the emails until after 23rd June.

I am sure that no one will be bothered by a few bumps in the wheel along the way, all GOOD things take time .... and the new site is SO good PPL :on_the_quiet2:

I just hope there is a little wind over the weekend of the 2st .... to help keep me from pacing around the house :rofl:

Hi All,

I can confirm we received a confirmation of the server at 6:44am this morning. So I have been playing with it, and it is quite snappy. Also should be no more night time slowdowns during peak periods.

Ok while Joel is playing in the lolly shop :) we will be holding XK Addicts rehabilitation classes.

They will start at 11:30 every night, if you miss the class please hang around and the bus will pick you up on the next round approx every 1/2 and hour.
you must make at least 4 posts in that time to gain access to the class.
