Ant,
Cool review!!!
Hey, I want to see you doing somersaults with your landboard and the Flexifoil next time!!
Seriously - a cool kite . It amazes me how well it flys and the amount of traction in very low (almost no winds) - especially compared to my PKD Buster 11 3 m.
On days where I struggle to launch, your arms end up longer and longer !!!
cheers

Can you give me a hand convincing Jess that what I really want for Christmas is a 15m Peter Lynn Synergy :D

Just read your write up on the 4.9m Blade and think you did a pretty good job .
I agree with just about everything you wrote.
I hope you were talking about the latest handles from Flexi as the the earleir black & grey ones were notorious for breaking.
I fly Blades and have the 4.9 Blade III & Iv in my quiver .
Both superb kites but the mark IV definitely has the edge over the III.
I don't jump (well not intentionally) but the lift is superb for my kind of buggying. Sit at the bottom of a bowl surrounded by 30 metre dunes around and that's when the Blade's famous lift does its magical trick of hoisting me up to the dune ridges.
It does take a lot of practice to fly the Blades well in the dunes. Knowing when & how much to brake is paramount to staying in the buggy.
I also have the 6.4 Blade II, 6.6 Blade III & 6.5 Blade IV. All excellent kites in their own right with the mark IV definitely a notch above the other 2. I'm hoping to see a 6.5 Blade V in the near future as my 6.5 is getting substantial use.
