Can you guess who does a good impression of a decoration?
Sam you might want to ask your new apprentice about his recent effort. And no he wasn't wearing his DUCKS tshirt at the time... and the blonde girl with him wasn't drinking beer either

He told me the story when i meet him at the cenotaph yesterday after work. He was flying a 2.5m Ozone Imp Trainer at the time when i went and had a chat with him. As i am only a newbie to the kite scene i was interested in what the kite was and also to get to meet some people with a similar interest.

I should probably clear up that the kite belonged to his girlfriend (well i think it was his girlfriend) which she had just received that day and he was showing her how to fly it.

Haha, yeah no good!! If anyone would like a Switchy 2 Bar, Strut Bladders and Bridle drop me a line.. I have some photos somewhere.
And yes the lovely young blonde was drinking a beer... Maybe should had payed a bit more attention to what my kite was doing!! I think the droool softened my fall lama.. haha
Just a friend I was helping fly the kite, good fun those little trainers ay

Hey Ando,
From a female perspective, seeing a guy dragged on his face halfway down the beach would just add to the intrigue and potential conversation topics!! Just as long as you didn't have a tantie trying to retrieve the kite like last time (not sexy)! AND after the event you would have been able to have one kite for yourself and one for her! Hey, at anyrate you got free beer !! Hope the kiting is going well up there and see you on the weekend :D

Hey I yelled out to you at falls as I sloshed out of the beer tent.. You were on a mission though.. 3 days off shore was awesome!! esspecially when all the kite gear in the tent takes up more room than the work bench.. We drove out before the massive queues started.. I hold the world record for packing a tent while tripping balls :rofl:
Wind still blows in Hobart then? I thought the 70 knot gusts only appear when i have a 10m up!! derkka derrka!!!
