A real special thanks has to go to Luke for his hospitality and giving me the opportunity to fly the speed 3.

I got the chance to fly the latest edition to the flysurfer range the SPEED 3 and WOW what a kite :good: :good: :good:
with light winds (10 knts) at the boys local on the northshore.

Started out on the 12mtr to get a feel for the kite and the conditions, after flying the outlaws for the past 8 months I was surprised on the bottom end grunt and the good lift and awesome float this kite offered ( I didn't think it could get any better then the outlaw) oh how wrong I was.
After a while flying Luke handed me the bar of the 15mtr, once the heart rate finally came down a bit I started to get comfortable on it, I found the hang time to be something else. :D :D :D
What also blew me away about this kite is that it didn't feel like 15mtrs of kite, only when it came to launching, cause then you knew you had plenty of kite above you.

It was good to catch up with Dave who was ripping it up on his board boosting nice big floaty airs and giving the locals a good show.
Luke like normal was living up to the flysurfer logo "ahead of its time" pulling massive inverts, huge axle grabs and to top it off he was doing kite loops on the 15mtr in 10knts winds...........wow the man can fly.

Here are a couple of shots of the L plater on the 15mtr -

    Nice Stu,

You took yourself out of your comfort zone (which is pretty rad anyway  ) and stepped up!

Sorry there is not more footage, it was slim pickings when you were up here in sub 10 knots.

    Color coded video

Grey skies = Sub 10 knots

    Blue skies = 10-15 knots
