    Hi,
    I'm looking for a snow kiting kite about 8 - 10m.
If I can find one that I could use to complement my 13m Slingshot Rev2 for kitesurfing that would be great, but not essential.
I'd prefer not to get a new one unless I can get it at a very good price since I'm still learning and it's likely to cop a beating.

    The kites I've looked at online that seem to fit the bill are;
    HQ Neo 8m
    PL Charger 10m

I'm open to suggestions/advice on these and other kites since I haven't had a chance to demo any.
I'm 85kg and have been kiting for about 18 months.

    Cheers,
    Nathan

These snow kites are for sale:
    8m Evo2 $600: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=13249
    10m Yeti $500: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=13298
Neither of the above are for Kiteboarding, they're snowkites only.

You can see some info on the Neo2: http://www.extremekites.com.au/news/kit ... close.html
I really enjoyed flying the Neo2, it is heads and shoulders above the original Neo in both stability, depower range and turning speed. It was a fun kite to fly, opposed to the Neo which felt like it still needed a lot of refinement.

Charger info up next week on the front page. A second hand Flysurfer Pulse or Speed 2 is also another great option!

Got a 10m Flysurfer Pulse 2 with FDS* if you want it

In great condition, good for 15-28 kts on the water (Depending on what board you use - I'm 74 kg)

Solid kite in the snow, Get going in 6 knots, head upwind in 8. Good depower for the gusts you are going to get in Oz and NZ, rolls up small. (includes a new compression bag that scrunches it up real small for packing into the BC.)

Expensive tho - $1000. Do your research and PM me if interested.

    P.

*FDS= 5th line, relaunch straight away after safety release, unlike PL kites (which are good in the snow, but messy after release, bulky to carry, and have bad bottom end.
