Well its been a long time since I had a decent landboard session.

In the winter my local beach turns wet, soggy and soft. in needs hot sun to burn it off and make it harder. Also the wind shifts SW which makes it cross shore and pretty annoying for landboarding.

So... unlike you blokes who do more land during the winter and less water. i'm the otherway round.

Anyway. wind was blowing 10 knots so I rigged the 15m manta and hooned off down the beach. found myself a nice boulder to jump maybe about 4ft round and 3ft high. Gopro is still broken dammit otherwise it would have made for nice footage. managed some wheel taps on the boulder and some crazy high speed jumps over it too.

Wind pulled up to 16 or so knots and air time became rediculous. I love hgh speed manta glide. I paced out one jump at 26 meters long.

Ahh. its renewed my zest for landboarding again.

    Plummet, Its so unfair.

I haven't had a decent landboard session for so long. The only thing keeping me sane is using my buggy. It works in almost no wind and has been a life saver.

It seems that you are moving towards some free style with the boulder bops. Next thing you will be doing manuals to 360 handle passes out on them.

Please get the go pro fixed and post up some footage.

Well its been a long time for a decent land session for me too. maybe 3 months. But i've had the most insane kitesurfing sessions this winter so I can't complain

I have set a challenge for myself and that is to jump the local river. its about 20-30 meters wide. So it will be difficult. But i figure if i run short then i will just splash down.

For years theres been rocks on the otherside of the river. but the other day i noticed the rocks had been replaced with sand!!. whoot. Hopefully the sand stays there long enough for the attempt.

I was tempted to bust some back roles off the wheel tap on the boulder. except landing had to be very precise, if i over cleared the to much i was straight into drift wood.

Well gopro case still broken but nothing stopping me putting the camera on the ground and getting footage.

but now the tides are all going and the winds gone cross shore so river jumping will have to wait.
