Landboarding

Hi all

The wind has come through last week and I've managed to get out during lunch to make the most of it. I've taken some video which includes a few cool stacks.

A bit of skating background always helps with the ideas. At the moment I'm stealing ideas from long boarding videos on Youtube. Hence the one foot stale fish slide.

My new go pro is the goods. It mmakes everything look clearer and gives me lots more recording time. However, it did loose a lot of clarity when I put it on youtube and through the video maker program. But still, heaps better than the old one.

After watching the video, I noticed that if I got any closer to the ground on some of those tricks, I would need a mining permit.

More height next time I think.

Have you tried Vimeo instead of YouTube? Some of my early vids were published on YouTube and the buggers would drop frames, especially the ones with the good bits. I only use Vimeo these days. What video editor are you using? Vimeo also has a page dedicated to recommended settings for rendering your vids.

I'll have a look at Vimeo when I get back to work. I think I used Moviemaker. It was on the work computer and I will have a look and see when I get back to the office.

If you think Vimeo is the goods, I will take your word for it and give it a go when I get a chance to film more footage.
