I'm pretty sure I know where the secret spot is and a large runway it is

Pity the wind didn't co-operate a bit more guys.

bummer bout the wind and whats wrong with the focus on the camera or is that just poodle !! but looks a top spot WoooooooooooHoooooooooooooooooo

its not me its the camera it had a foggy spot as you know!!!

@ petes : if your going to be in airlie this week then you must drop in and grab your money !!! sorry for monday but i had to sort out some stuff and the wind started to blow at 2 pm so i went kitesurfing at cannonvale!!!

it was all dale.
he left my camera in the sun to cook, inside the lens glass fogged up.

the wind was a bugger, but that must just be inland flying?

we were there for ages, not one sign of anyone comeing and asking us to move on.

you should know where this is, i have gone on about this runway before.
the owner is bankrupt, no security, open gates....

its a bloody invitation if you ask me.

goz if you want a first hand look at this spot, let me know and i'll give you directions how to get there. its just off the highway, south of Proserpine. easy to find, and you can see the full runway without even driving off the road.

yeah thge spot is good but wind is an issue.

might have to try it in a more stable wind direction, i'm sure we can find a crosswind run somewhere.

they tend to point runways into the wind, when there is only one strip.

Hey Peter,

Nice size area mate but when your a custom to seabreezes and move inland
you become aware of how lucky and privileged you are.

Maybe you just need to move to the other end of the runway Peter from what I've seen it's a lot closer to the beach at the other end

It has to be one of the biggest ensued runways I have seen
