kite lines for winching
winchnchewy
hey what's happening, i am looking into using kite line on my wake winch and was just curious if it is possible to get kite lines in a higher strength than 600lb.
and i was also wondering if kite line floats.

Try a yacht shop, they should have a selection of different strengths to pick from or be able to order stronger strengths.
You should be able to get cored line (outer case of nylon) should you need to have a higher abrasion resistance for your wake line
Spectra or dynema as it is known as does float, the older kevlar line you might have got many years ago will sink.

Kite lines even if they worked for winching would be too dangerous. Just buy a proper rope-
