Good one wolfie, you shouldn't tease poor george like that though :D

I'm no competition, living in the temperate island paradise that is Tasmania I'll be lucky if I get to see mine by the end of the week...I think the posties have to swim across bass strait or something :p

Something springs to mind though, I am guessing if you had a fly of the Matrixx, you must have witness's, i.e. at least Jason? When ever I nail a new trick on my duellies the tassie land crew are always quick to point out that if no one has seen it, it didn't happen!

There is still hope George! Unless some witness's post, just flatly refuse to believe Wolfie and claim to be the first one in Aussie to fly one :D

The god of winds didn't smile on me at lunch, got up to the local land spot and it was gusting anywhere from 5 to 20+ knots, not good for this 65kg giant to be testing a new 12 metre kite :(

Many places have their famous local winds, WA has the Doctor, Sydney the Southerly Buster, in Tassie I like to call this type of wind the Maimer :)
If u don't belive me checkout Dudley's (Alpha) carnage photo's in the kite accidents thread

Spotter and I laid it out on the ground in a sheltered spot though, and admired it greatly :D

I don't know if it's because I started the sport with foils but I always find well made one's amazingly beautiful objects, and the Matrixx has to be one of the best ones I've seen. I know they work amazingly well for what they are designed to do but i have to admit I always feel that Tube kites look a bit like pool noodles with a sheet sewn on :p

So George, did u get to fly yours yet?

Well well well. I flew the Matrixx today down at Easern Beach park and to sum it up in a word, its, WOW!!!!!

John Holgate was there aswell and he had his fixed bridal 4m, and we were there from 12.30 till 4.45pm.

The Matrixx I bought is the15m, which comes in a nice green colour.

I'm not going to go into to much detail now, I'll do a more detailed review at a later stage.

Out of the bag its all quality. From the bar to the bridal, right down to the fabric.

The bar feels solid, and I like the idea of the red and blue, for the left and right side of the bar, its coloured top and bottom of the bar, unlike other bars that only colour the top part of the bar, were you cant see it some of the time. They have also printed on the wrong side of the bar the words "Wong Way" in red.

I had this kite out at wind speed of between 14-19knts. Remember, this is a 15m kite, and I only had half way depowered.

The pop was unreal and float was amazing.

The looping of the kite is increadible, and no stalling. It loops like my 11m Frenzy.
Again remember its a 15m I'm talking about.

I think Flysurfer have got massive compatition with this Kite (Matrixx). WOW!!!!! Sorry Luke.

:dontknow: Sales are nothing to do with me, and I don't care what people fly! :)

Glad the Matrixx is flying well, I'll have to try one for sure.

Stuff like Speed 3's and Matrixx have a limited market in Aus, because they are lifty kites most suited to people who like being above the ground.

Will see how it goes down in Europe :)
