    OK about time we started to gets some names down for this event.

    Official Dates
    Wednesday 25/01/2012 - Sunday 29/01/2012

    A few of us will be getting there the weekend before 21st/22.

    So come along and chill out and have a awesome time on the beach.
    You must be able to buggy or land board for at least 15k straight down the beach, if you cant you will soon learn :)
    Don't forget there is also a great big salt lake to have fun on too. plus the water for the kitesurfers.

    Accommodation Details
    There's a few options here, which you can take that suits you.

    Camping / Roughing it on the Beach
    The majority of people that will attend the Kingston Cruise will camp out on the beach, so you won't be alone the only ones camping you will most likely find at least a dozen tents around you. Simply pack a tent, food, and camp it out on the beach where you can roll from your lilo in to a buggy for the day.

    Caravan Park / Motels
    There are caravan parks and motels around Kingston, with a few listed below:

    Kingston Lobster Motor Inn, starts at $90 per night for a room. (web http://www.lobstermotorinn.com.au/)

    I'll be making the trek over from Canberra :D
    Arriving on Sunday the 22nd and leaving on Sat the 29th, Staying at the caravan Park with the family :friends:

    Can't wait. Just had some former "locals" try to tell me how to get there, and then when I showed them the route chosen by ausinfo, they said, "Yeah, the road should do the trick" :dance3:

    As a comparison we had a 1.26 m tide on the saturday night last year and we did not get flooded out on the beach no where near us :-)

    So we should all be good :)
    So get your names down on the list if your coming. that includes you marty and wolfie your wives rang and said it was ok to go :D

    Looks like we will be arriving on the 21st to setup camp for the week.
    Its cheap every extra night you stay there it cost you a whole $0.
    After the first day of sand you dont really notice it any more :)


    Who is up for arranging events for the week anybody into beach volley ball Vics V SA the winer plays the other sates.

    Beach volley ball, sounds interesting, but how can I hold a volley ball in one hand and my kite bar in the other??

    Spartan and I tried it with a tennis ball + kites the other day, great fun.


    Right beach volley ball without kites, yes sounds like fun.
