Lost & Found

Hi all,

I am new to kite surfing and been addicted for a couple of months. This morning I went to my ute as usual and found that my Kite & Board had been stolen. I live in Point Cook Vic. The Kite is Red / Black & White. This is a 2012 model yet has 2011 Lines attached to the bag so a different safety system etc. The board is the 2012 Haze. I really can't describe the thoughts i have for the low life scum who has stolen my much loved kit! The board has kite republic stickers on it with a kite republic lost and found sticker that i hadn't got around to filling out, there are no marks on the board at all and it is as new. The pump which was attached to the green bag is a White Naish pump also with a Large Kite republic sticker on it. If any one at all comes across such items for sale please let me know as i cannot afford to replace them and would love 5 min with whoever took them!

from my experience people that nick shit from.utes are dead keen on selling and.buying lawnmower parts in the local pocket trader so go to your local newsagent and get a copy/ask for the equivalant where your living. get your serial number from the sale receipt and "inspect it from.the.thief" then say youll think about it try hassle them down a bit. if its yours go to cop shop tell them your story show them photo and address and serials.then.police will.raid the fucker and get him done for many many many stolen goods and usually drugs. then once you got it back off cops etc send the thief a message saying okay I got the okay from the misses to buy it when can we meet up? (so his bikie mates etc dont suspect you knarked) sometimes they dont know there kites or there worth and it may be listed as parachute or a paraglide wing to anything really. sorry to hear your loss. allso check.gumtree and ebay and seabreeze.
dont get angry and beat the guy to death let the police handle.that.

Thanks for you reply. I have contacted near enough everyone under the sun to let them know including all the local cash converters etc. This Kite has last years lines on it also so would be quite unusual to and one that knows what they are looking at. It has obviously been reported to the police and now I have calmed down a bit I will let them deal with it. But thanks for the advice about "buying it off them" as a smoke screen. Hadn't even though about that.
