It's not "Carbon Fibre"........just looks like it is due to the composite materials used.

Strange thing but i'm no expert on Carbon.

Anyways had a quick play with it last night in the garage, and did a few static bounces compairing it to the metal PL axle
The Composite axle has more bounce than the metal one which doesnt seem to give at all expect to bend. Should be able to get a few good sesions this weekend and will report back my findings.

Movie of static bounces please. It would be nice to see what sort of 'play' is available.

    Hi all,

Took the Buggy out for a run on Saturday with the new axle. Was at Stkilda and got there just as the wind picked up, 20 -30 knot SE had my 3m HAKA pushing me along nicely and get some really nice boosts off the hill topping out at about 2m on my best jump.

First impressions where quite good. The Axle preformed floorlessly and i defintly noticed a differance in the composite vs Stainless axle. Firstly it didnt bend when i had a few of those rough landings. Secondly it seemed to offer a little bounce, not much but enough to make a differecne in the comfort levels on the hard landings. Overall the axle took the punishment and kept going. Once the session was complete close inpection of the axle shows nothing had come loose on move in any way.

As i mentioned this was my first outing with the new axle so more to follow!...

So far 9 out of 10

PL composite axle 8 months on.

In a few words "nothing has happened" the Axle has been rock solid for 8 months i forgot it was there.
Nothing has moved nothing has broken, it just keeps bouncing back.

The issues i have with the PL buggy now are mostly to do with the side rails and the seat, seat breaking side rails bending.
But PL is working to improve those as well.
