Hi all
I have been working my way through the Revolution kites "Flying Techniques series", I am up to the "Facet turn" aka "The clock" and it says to do a "Snap turn" to rotate the kite 90 deg then stop and hover and repeat.
What is a snap turn?
Now I am assuming the snap turn is different from a normal turn/ rotation where you push one thumb forward, when I use this method the kite rotates around that panel/wing and not the centre.
I read somewhere on the net that to get the kite to rotate 90 deg CW at its centre you push in the bottom of the left handle and pull the entire left handle towards you, when the kite is at 12 oclock return bottom of left handle to the start position but keep the left handle towards you.
Using this method the kite is reluctant to rotate so its more of a gentle arc.
Any advice or suggestions would be muchly appreciated.
Cheers
Mat
