they don't work that well, it's really hard to go up wind and tricky to turn. Still lots of fun.

I have had move pleasure with the base board, poweriser or orditwheels.
If your good at manufacturing I have a few new concept I like to share with you, but you hae to have a open mind.

You have obviously missed the last 10 videos posted by Spartan .... he is all over it Alex.

I also spoke to another XK Member who had his first run with another mate (on some kite skates) only a few days ago. He commented how easy it was to stay upwind, even on their first try.

Mr Alex sanz. I normaly give you he benefit of the doubt on some of the stuff you bring up and annoy people with. But this time I've really got to tell you that you really dont have a clue do you!!!!.

You talk about how hard it is to go up wind, well let ME tell YOU that I not only Kite Skate but I Buggy and have Kite Boarded. Out of the three the skates are the easiest to go up wind with.

Mate I finally have worked out the category you fit into....... You are the JACK of all trades BUT master of none.

I second that, surprised at how far we could point upwind, I also think the Terrablades assisted with this especially for our first session.

As for the step turning, nope, we were carving smooth turns to change direction. anything above 2 knots would help that also.

Sorry if I find them a little hard to go up wind and to turn and the fact that your stapped in worries me a little, just remember I do own a pair so atleast I gave it a go!!

I would rather hear that we meet up and you can show me first hand how well thay can work..

I have never had a session with anyone on skates and kite...

I'll back you up 100% George. I meet up with George quite few times at the local park and he has no trouble in going up wind. Once he plants the blades a certain direction, they stay in the direction and hold that direction better than the landboards do. As for the ease of turning, well you just have to watch George in action, no trouble there either.

    Oh and top work BlackAnt.

Mine have 4 wheels on each foot. that might be the reason why I find it harder ?

I try everything, and yes I did move on about 4 years ago from terra skate but now there is a few people doing it it's got me interested again.

Really :D ....... Last time I checked, the only brand that has 4 wheels on each foot is Terrablades. Please post up a picture of these skates of yours.......... considering I have the only pair in the country............

A few of us are trying to get this aspect of kiting going over here, what we don't need is your personal touch of creating animosity & BS claims, with any thread/section you go near.

Btw, my 4 wheeled skates turn on a dime :)

Perhaps Alex is talking about the four wheel jobies where there are two wheels on each side of the one foot, like the ones Peter from QLD was looking at. Ie like the roller skates looked like 20 year ago. This is opposed to the inline stakes that Luke has.
