Sure looked like it was windy. I really got to get my hand on a pair of those Coyote Blades. I used to be quite handy with street blades and skates abck in the day, much more so then any boards that I tried be it skateboarding landboarding or on the water so I would be interested to try kite blades.

I do have some questions tho. :help:

From most the vids ive seen bladers ar using handles. Is this because its easier to not be harnessed in on blades?

From the boarding position it seems more natural to fly the kite then twisted around to one side trying to fly. It would be like riding half toeside all the time yes? Harnessed in of course.

Hi Ligerzero, There's no right or wrong kite to use with kite skating either fixed or depower kites will do.

My self I use depowers to be able to jump and let go of the bar knowing that I wont get the two handles caught into each other and not have the kite looping if it does, as what hapend to me last year and I slammed into a tree.

If you dont do any trick kiting Fixed bridels are ok.

Joel took this Vid of me using a depower Access XC last year, I'll get some more footage of me soon with the Manta 3 more floatier jumps.

Thanks Sparten. :good: I was thinking about it today and thought to myself...

"Theres really no difference to the position you buggy in" (Facing forward with the kite to the side). So I think that I may have answered my own question though thought today.

Sure does look like fun. Im gonna have to give it a go. I think I'll wait until I get some Coyote Blades though, they look more usable to me, especially when you take into account my blading style.
