General Kiting

OK here is my initial take on things.

I don't think this kite is aimed at targeting the FS Speed market. At this point in time nothing comes close to the large Speeds in light wind and upwind performance. I foresee FS holding this niche for some time yet. For those yet to try a Speed because of those who knock them and claim that a large pump up kite is just as good you don't know what your missing....

I think the Matrix is aimed at those who want more instant power and pop in their kite whilst not sacrificing turning speed and lift.
Those who have flown the Montana range of open cell foils will know it produces it's power much faster than other kites available and makes much more power than an equivalent sized NEO. The Matrix I think is aimed at capturing these qualities in a closed cell kite.

I'll second that, 10 knots average wind speed gusting up to 14knots, FlySurfer Speed III 12m^2, rider weight 67 kg, only Kiter on the water having a ball at Altona the other evening --- primo time!

Well buggar me was at BRISKITES today and have a guess at who walked in a MEXICIAN ( wogboy ) from down south Spartan !!!!!!! I hear tell that the BRIBES where flying thick and fast to get his DIRTY little mitts on this kite FIRST !! looks like theres gunna be some going on round the place i may have to pull out all 's to get in front ,where did you say your staying up here spartan ??? i'll come for a eh MATE eh !! ?? what ya recon !!

Ye, I had 3-4hrs to kill after dropping the family off to dreamworld, so I headed up to Brizkites to personaly hand over my $101 to bribe Jason into sending the kite down south before any where else. But Wolfie got to Jason first.

It was great to see Ya wolfie. Im staying down Gold Coast way if your serious about comming down that way for a give me a personal message.
