6m Arc would be a good high wind buggy kite, but I would imagine it would turn like an angry wasp.

Any idea what year it is?

Nigel tells me it is a first generation (1.5?) limited production ARC.

It was the smallest ARC made for quiet some time, it wasn't until the arrival of the phantom range that there was a kite of the same size. There have been none made in the same size since the phantom.

Nigel says he loves his 6m Phantom and it is quiet docile compared to the 7m scorpion that has a bee in it's bonnet

The H Arc was made specifically as a land kite. I have never seen one other than a prototype we got our hands on when it was being developed. The proto refused to fly (I can't remember why)

    HI,

It's pretty much impossible to find any info on this beast. I found a copy of the manual on-line and that suggested using a pump to inflate the kite and by the looks of it that might be the best way to get it inflated as the smallish velcro opening in the leading edge would take quite some time.... Makes you wonder why it's such a rare kite. Anyway I was after a high wind depowerable kite but not sure if this fits the bill as such.

    Cheers

Kite history. I won the 2001 vic buggy series and the Hiarc was a prize. Only tried to fly it once with the support of Nigel in 2003 on a light wind day. It was hard to inflate so a pump would probably be good. Have no interest in bar kites and want to upgrade my old Blade 0ne quiver. I have had a 2.5 year absence from the scene through a broken vertabrae (now healed). Have one Century 2.2 and a 10 on the way. I assumed someone would be knowledgable and interested.
