The 2012/2013 product catalogue is out from Peter Lynn and there are few changes in the line up.

There is a new Reator in the line up. For some reason though they are not calling it the Reactor 3, just the Reator.

Also the Charger has been revamped and is now available in a 6.5m, but only up to an 18m

Probably the most interesting though is a completely new kite called the Voltage. It is apparently a high performing, more lifty kite then the Twister IIR. It may just be me, but from the picture it looks a lot like the Flexifoil Blade.... maybe a little cheaper though when it comes out ;)

    Andy,

The 6m^2 Charger would be absolutely mental (in a nice way). The 8m^2 Synergy is fast through the air and turns just as fast, makes a very different flying style compared to the Speed III's, but it's nice to have such a contrast. Now the smaller 6m^2 would be even faster. They are great fun in high winds.

    Regards,
    Norman.

The Voltage must be a replacement for the Core.

Core was the allround 4 line foil in the pro range, I guess they decided that they needed a lifty kite in the pro range instead

Was the core in the Pro Range?

either way, I think that the voltage will be miles ahead of it. The Core was an all round kite, where as the voltage looks to be a very powerful kite with even more lift then the twister, which was already a high boosting kite.

The Core was in the pro range.

The Twister II was "dumbed" down from the mark1, it lost lost a bit of forward drive and it's ability to over fly a little.
The Voltage looks like the step up from the Twister, so more forward drive and over flying ability, a but like the Ozone Haka?

No replacement Vapor???? Or a mark II??

    And no de-power foil????

    I'd like a de-power Vapor please. :clapping:

Why do the work yourself when someone else has done it already??

Peter (Lynn) made a de-power kite (about 3 years ago), but the biggest aspect to the design was the fact the new de-power bridle could be be put on any kite.

    So I'm still waiting. :popcorm1:

you should contact peter lynn NZ and see if they have something. I wouldn't like your chances of getting anything innovative like that from the new PL outfit in europe. Too much against the norm, so would be a risk.

Why not try it yourself? just use stainless steel rings from bunnings instead of pulleys to keep it cheap and test if its a viable concept.
I tried building a depower setup when I was first starting out, but it didn't really work on a 2m beamer :o

I've even harressed them in person at the NZ factory.
    Still doesn't work.
Must have a big dead horse at PL, it often gets a flogging.
Or is it a de-flated Mega Ray??

    6 Years ago now.

You should have been in Broome in 06 when he was demoing them, you could have run off with the prototype. :search:

Funny I did not see the PL Lynx mentioned in that brochure . PLs depower foil. A mate has one which is his new fav kite for kite buggying.

    http://peterlynn.com/products/snowkiting/lynx/

Supposedly a snow kite. He had a bit of trouble initaially getting it from PL NZ - they didn't seem to know much about it.
