    BUGGY AND KITES SOLD
Having just bought a new buggy, I now have my much loved Peter Lynn MKII buggy for sale.

It's in pretty good condition. Seat is slightly faded but all in good nick.

    I paid $949 for this buggy 4 years ago and am selling it with the following upgrades;
brand new Wide Comp XR front forks (RRP$135) (so you can fit midi tyres if you like)
    a 1.4m (maxi) axle (RRP $245) and
an extra long comp XR down tube (RRP $119) making it an extra stable platform.
(Original forks, axle and downtube not included).

Combined with the home made seat belt, this buggy would be great for a beginner, long distance speed runs or inland flying in gusty conditions.

NB. Rear Axle has a very slight bend but does not effect performance.

    I'm asking $500 ONO + postage.

Also if you're a beginner, I have 3 fixed bridle kites that, combined with the buggy would be the ideal kit to get you flying.
They are; 2m & 3m PKD Broozas and 4.5m Fexifoil Bullet.
If you're interested in the kites let me know and I'll send pics.

    Cheers

    Hi,

I am interested if the buggie is still for sale. I live in Canberra so do you have any idea what postage would be? Thanks.

    Hi again,

May have found a buggy but might be interested in your 4.5m Flexifoil bullet. How old, what condition, bar or handle control? Cheers

    Hi Tiger37

The 4.5m Bullet is a 2005 model I think. I bought it second hand as my first kite back in 2008.
It's in good condition. No tears or damage. It has a new set of lines and it's a fixed bridle on handles. It flies really well and is a solid and stable kite and easy to fly.
I'd be happy with $150 plus postage. I'm not sure at this stage what postage will cost but can find out for you. Alternatively I'll be in Canberra in the 2nd week of November so I can bring it up there if you want to wait that long.

Just a note though. As I said, this was my first kite. Do you have any other kites? If not, I think you might be making a very common mistake in going for a 4.5m just as I did. A 4.5m generates A LOT OF POWER and for gusty inland flying you probably should be starting with a 2m or 3m kite. I found that within 3 weeks of buying this kite, I had realised my mistake and had bought the 2 & 3m Brooza's. The 4.5m has a wind range around 3 to 8 knots and inland the wind is usually a bit gusty when in that range. It takes a bit of practice to learn to cope with gusts on a fixed bridle so you're better to be underpowered to begin with rather than overpowered.

Don't just take my word for it http://www.extremekites.com.au/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=11960

If you still want the kite, let me know and I'll find out about postage costs.

    Cheers

Thanks for the advice. I have 11m and 7m kite boarding kites and am confident with depower kites using bar and waist harness but the only land kite I have is an HQ 3m trainer. Once I have got my hands on a buggy I will get in touch with some of the kiters in Canberra to get advice on which size works best and then get back to you. Cheers

    Thanks OBE,

Good to meet you mate, and thanks for the great buy. Aaron had his first fly yesterday, and his first buggy this afternoon, the flexi flies well.
Everything was first class, cheers for the great deal.
