You know you're hooked on kites when...... Looking for places to rent you only check the suburbs that border the best kite park (And yep, in a week I'll be inside 1.5km away from it! Bring on summer )

You permanently mount a wind meter to the roof of your house...

You carry more than 5 kites in your car at all times...

or, when you skip lunch and take 1/2 hour to fly instead...

When you wake up at 4am just to get a couple of hours of kiting in before work (and before the missus wakes up!).

When you go on a family holiday to Melbourne and the hotel you book is coincidently very close to Moran !

when u start to run out of room at home to keep all the kites and cant fit al of them in your car

When your always looking at the trees outside your door,hoping,hoping,hoping

When you volunteer for overtime at work to make more money for kites but are spewing the whole time you are there because you want to be out kiting.

And when you look at all the Victorian forecasts and see there is gonna be no wind for a week so you start checking NSW and SA forecasts to see if they have better wind.....and are actually entertaining the thought of driving 800km each way on a weekend just to find some decent wind......and are trying to think of ways of justifying that to the missus.

........when the first thing you pack when going on holiday's, are your kites.
........ when the only people you know are fellow kite flyers.
........ when you stop taking pictures of car's and models, just to focus on a kiter.
........ when your local kite shop thinks about putting private parking in, just for you!!
