The pics look explosive, litterally Plummet. So one little Black Duck then got his GoPro casing fixed then, hurra.

I assume you still can't go in the soft sand as the Buggy riders can, ie like going for a general track across the Dunes at Stockton for example?

    Regards,
    Norman.

video to come. but not for a week or 2. i need to edit. but first recover. every time i stand up i scream at the moment. it was a very hard weekend.

No the camera mount is not fixed. still waiting on warrantee claim. 3 months and counting.... not impressed. i duck taped the camera to me/board and lines!...

thats exactly what i'm doing here southerly. riding the dunes like a buggier. I've never been to stockton so i can't comment on the hardness of those dunes. these dunes had several days of rain and started of hard packed ish. not like the hard sand of the low tide beach but alot harder than completly dry dunes. through the course of the weekend the dunes dried out and i discovered with a precise technique i could still landboard the soft dunes. by the end of the weekend I was going upwind uphill in the soft, launching big glides, slamming off lips and doing extending adventure rides through the dunes. infact i did over 100km in the dunes..... yeah freaken ha!

Not weird, just Speed Week, we've been away .... . Loved the vid Plummet, interesting cam angles. Must be even better to watch the vid in full resolution. What system did you use to do the video editing in? Liked the sand flying past the in the low level shots, don't know about the harry legs though :D . Good to see you guys had a blast at Moose Meet.

i'm using adobe elements 8.0. That upload save is in standard wide screen ntsc. I have a 720p save also thats alot better.

PS still haven't got gopro mount warrantee... i achieved all of these angles with duck tape!..

I thought you needed Adobe Premier for the video editing, at least it was that with version 5/6 on the PC. Have they added on a vid editor with elements now? So PC or Mac Plummet as you don't necessarily get the same bunch of goodies between the two?

The last time I used Premier it was a real cow to set the compression values, more settings that you can poke a stick at but only a handful actually work.

:good: Nice work - enjoyed watching that. And listening to it too.... :D

ps: I sympathize with the laptop - mine is a 2ghz celeron which is too slow to play any of my mp4 files in the video editor. Complete PITA.
