Kite Surfing

so after the redbull race in sri lanka the south africans (a 14? yr old cabrinha rider) and a couple lucky aussies got chating etc long story short I got to check out the new 2013 switchblade it was an 8m and from just me personally haveing a sticky beak on the beach I reckon theyve gone back to the old dakon canopy. the bar looks impressive as fuck I really wanted to give it a go but didnt want to be "that guy" and request to use someone elses brand new kit. it cost them round 1.6k$ (2nd hand flown in one downwinder) another strange thing I noticed about it was it had a little pocket sewn onto the side to carry a "line manager" I suspect some gimicky brass knuckle device to hel straighten out your lines. why the fuck youd want it to be on your wing tip while flying ill never know. bavk pocket uyeah maybe? but wouldnt you just pack it up with ya pump before ya took off? regardless it looked pretty awesome green silver and black. its been a few days since I seen it again but id say its in stores in 2-3weeks. ive got photos but need a computer to download them off camera :,( sorry guys

but yeah looks great personaly I think its simuar enough to.my 2010 one not to bother upgradeing. I would love one of those.bars tho look freaking great. and my shitty little 48 bar just aint cutting it for me no more makeing my downloops pretty sloppy etc (im still a bit shit at kiteing just back/forward rolls jump transitions n few raileys n shit so im not best judge yet on gear/kiteing but getting there)
