Kite Surfing

I don't know if this question was posted before but I just want to ask if there are any kitesurfing video games that are developed or are being developed by gaming companies for pc, xbox, ps or any other gaming platforms? I think it's would be interesting to play kitesurfing in video games aside from doing it in actual.

I studied 3d model animation and game design and I thought about this a bit. and really theres only one way you could take it and thats the tony hawk style sorta shit. and it would just look and play so crap it would be gimmicky at best and it truly would herald in the death of the sport. sure the surfing in california games on the sega didnt kill surfing but tony hawks sure as fuck killed skateboarding for me. all these knob heads who never skated before all started trying it and then nike started produceing skate style shoes etc etc
im fucking praying the olympics doesnt do same thing. I secretly hope the gold medalist for kitesurfing dies some tragic accident and it becomes a curse who ever wins gold in kitesurfing dies every time.... that escalated quickly 4 am woke up started posting shit good job dave good job

anyways theres a couple lame little kite flash games or some shit from memory nothing major and I fucking pray nothing.major ever does come of it. its just a bunch or marketing anyways. if you want to play kitesurfing game just buy any other Xtreme sport game there all same. literally. and just pretend theres a coupl lines extending out of the screen and when you crash or land a trick that entails the camera panning out or shooting from another angle imagine the kite being shown. thatll be all it is. often 3d modeling can allow the developers to even FURTHER the sport by createing unworldly physics etc then people will try em out in real life but thatll.never happen. itll just be another EA sports clone and I bet ya any money they allready have the rights to it.

soon as I saw the ubisoft logo I cringed. holly fuck thats worse then I could even have said. its shit like that thats just.... im speechless its not even a fucking game its just the poorest attempt of a cash grab. its exactly why I got out of the game industry while I could. makes me sick. im glad someone has done it so fucking poorly that its horrible sales will be reflected on the genres and no other companys will waste there time furthering the idea.
I just dont even know what ubisoft was thinking everything theyve touched in last decade and half has turned to instant shit.

I won't enter the debate of the weather the software is any good, but hey I get most kicks out of the real thing and have an attention span of perhaps 30 seconds for the computer game incarnations.

cant tell if your being sarcastic or not. but ever extreme sports game is going to follow the same mold. so theres no point in waiting for a cooler better one to be made. theyll all be shit untill the end of time its forever just going to be tony hawk. kiteing is actually a really restrictive environment youll be able to make parks rails jumps ramps go off foreign things like maybe boats dam walls and what have you. but itll allways be the same shit.
only chance of it breaking that lame ass overdone mold is by useing extra peripherals like the camera or wii mote etc etc. now this is where it all falls apart completely. because essentially the ultimate thing for this would be a trampoline and a kite bar + lines. youll see these trampolines and bars at lots of cable parks and kite schools. these actually help you gain your airial awareness balance and lets you practice tricks.

so if you REALLY must have a computer game on kiteing buy a trampoline and a stick and some rope. put it next to a shed or a tree tie the stick to the rope adjust the length so its same as when youd be kiteing and away you go.

anyways still unsure on where ever your being sarcastic or not swinewabaloubaragh62835 but if you are .... well I dont know go talk to anyone else from any and I mean ANY game company and get there response. theres a website called "sumea" or something, fuck I cant even remember it hahaha anyways its got some my old showreels and portfolio on it if you want go post on there forums and see what they think about it. I dont consider any of those exttreme game titles to even BE a game there essentially just little plastic toy trucks for 3 year olds that look flashy and get there attention for a couple hours then there done with it. there NOT made to be played there made purely to be sold a quick trailer some nice coverart and an incredibly unoriginal genre. anyways im done for every doller less spent on fucking trash titles like that shit theres more hours put into a actual game title. ubisoft however have literally FUCKED everything they bought. and im just glad there sticking to there guns and enticeing foolish bored people with to much money.
