  • Notes
  • It is best kiting at the East end of the beach launching between Pier Street and Sargood Street. There are also shops and facilities at this end of the beach.

The West end of the beach offers very little launch area and there are a number of submerged drain pipes at high tide which are shallowly covered by a few inches of water. The West end of the beach is also unusable at half and low tide, the pier end is usable at both high and low tide.
