During winter due to the strong winds the location dries out quite quickly, however in summer you will need "slime" in your wheels as you can expect a few punctures per session due to the seasonal appearance of 3 corner jacks.
There is a large area out the back, when arriving continue up McGrath's road and use the third entrance. There is a path that leads down between the hockey courts and softball fields, at the end of it walk over the ditch and setup. The back area sees very few or no pedestrians at all.
