30 minutes north of Canberra.

The best buggying, land boarding, in-land location on the east coast of Australia. Roughly 15 by 10 kilometres of flat land. The winds come in smooth and without heavy blasts. Best in the late afternoon, during the summer months.

Watch out however, as some of the remaining fences still have a strand or two of wire in them. Once inspected, blasting through fence lines is great fun. No problems to go for more than a couple of hours in any direction regardless of wind direction.

A group of Canberra based flyers often go to the lake and come home stuffed!
