The Summit: Probably the easiest place to access in Victoria. Fairly large space on top, not too steep (if you don't do down the sides of the mountain too far). From the village, just catch the summit chair, then walk over the back to setup your kite. If you're not staying on the mountain, then you can park in Loch Carpark, or there's a little pullout just below the summit, before you get to the carpark. From here it's just a 50m walk uphill! Being a summit, you can find places to kite in any wind direction, although SE-NE are the best directions. Could be good in a SW.

Mt Loch: You need a lift-ticket ($90/day) to get out here, or face a 1 hour slog on touring skis (it'd take a couple of hours to walk). Huge open space, great for all winds except Nth. Great potential, as well as some easier, flatter terrain. Some more pics from a recent Kitepower trip.
