This is a popular kiting location for land kiters in Melbourne. A small park on the waters edge next to the Marina that offers smooth afternoon winds. There's a BP Service station at the end of the reserve for snacks or the Riva restaurant. The location is small however it's popular with local regulars.

Presidents Park is most likely the largest open grassed area in Victoria for land kiting. It is suitable for Buggying, Landboarding and Kite Skating and is popular with Land Kiters over winter when winds are unfavorable and Northerly in Melbourne.

Rosebud Beach is a popular alternative to Rye when winds are blowing more Westerly than Northerly. There is a shallow sandbar where the water is generally flat, beyond that it drops off to a deep shipping channel.

This is a very small launch area on to Lake Connewarre, Leopold. The location is tucked away at the end of Brinsmead Lane and is suitable for a handful of kiters at a time due to its small size.
