Its great for learners as the clean blue water stays shallow enough to stand up in out to around 500m. Most days if there is the slightest chance of wind there are the same locals and blow ins on the beach waiting and socialising with anyone who comes along. This spot can get pretty crowded but only at the launch area/carpark. Once you're out there is plenty of room. Flat water only this spot works in northerlys.
