Presidents Park is quite possibly the largest public reserve in Melbourne. It is usable in all wind directions, however is best suited from South East to Northerly winds. There are free BBQ cooking facilities and toilets. Use the carpark from McGrath Rd, then setup on the main oval and you can fly down past the lake to the rear of Presidents Park where it is simply HUGE and open.
